Abstract
Bogor City has an average annual rainfall of around 3500 mm to 4000 mm, with the largest rainfall in December and January. The most common disaster in Bogor City is landslides. In October 2020, a landslide occurred in a densely populated residential area, precisely in RT03/09 Cibadak Village, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City. The location of the landslide occurred on a river cliff around a resident's house, with a length of 4.9 meters and a height of 3.37 meters from the water surface. The construction of a retaining wall (Retaining Wall) at the landslide location is one of the solutions to overcome the subsequent landslide disaster and provide a sense of security for residents. The analysis results for the gravity type show the stability of the retaining wall against sliding (Fgs) = 2.2 ≥ SF = 1.5 and for stability against overturning (Fgl) = 2.783 ≥ SF = 1.5 and stability against the collapse of bearing capacity (e) = 0.213 ≤ SF = 1.5 With the total construction cost required of Rp. 47,430,000.00. While the analysis for the cantilever type shows the stability of the retaining wall against sliding (Fgs) = 2.43 ≥ SF = 1.5 and for stability against overturning (Fgl) = 2.25 ≥ SF = 1.5 and for stability against a collapse of bearing capacity (e) = 0.4 ≤ SF = 1.5 With the total construction cost required of Rp. 55,550,000.00. Thus, the more efficient retaining wall in terms of cost and ease of mobilization is the gravity-type retaining wall.
